TalkTalk Business at Manchester Tech Week

Last week, we were proud to be part of Manchester Tech Week - joining technology leaders, innovators and organisations from across the UK for a week focused on the future of digital transformation.

For TalkTalk Business, it was an exciting opportunity to be part of the conversations shaping modern organisations and the networks behind them.

Throughout the week, we exhibited at both DTX Manchester and the Local Government Partnership Network (LGPN) North event, meeting businesses and public sector organisations looking to modernise infrastructure, strengthen security and build more resilient, future-ready networks.

At DTX Manchester, we took to the stage and spoke to organisations and took to navigating cloud transformation, connectivity challenges and evolving cybersecurity demands. From AI readiness and SD-WAN to managed services and secure network infrastructure, it was clear that businesses are increasingly looking for technology partners who can simplify complexity and support long-term growth.

Meanwhile at LGPN North, discussions focused on how technology can help deliver better outcomes for communities, with public sector leaders sharing practical approaches to digital transformation, resilience and service delivery.

The timing of us taking part in Manchester Tech Week felt particularly important for TalkTalk Business.

Following our evolution into a fully independent business and our continued expansion into managed network and security services, events like Manchester Tech Week gave us the chance to reintroduce who we are today. And more importantly, where we’re heading next. Recent developments, including the acquisition of Planet IT, reflect our ambition to become a broader managed technology partner for organisations across the UK.

But beyond the technology itself, what stood out most across the week was the focus on real-world outcomes.

Whether speaking with enterprise IT teams, public sector leaders or growing businesses, conversations consistently came back to the same themes: reliability, security, scalability and having the right foundations in place to support change.

That’s exactly where we focus.
